Terms of Service
These terms govern access to Shell2Go, a hosted browser-based SSH, SFTP, and FTP service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for your password, signed-in devices, and activity performed through your account.
Authorized systems only
You may connect only to systems you own or are expressly authorized to administer. You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy and all laws that apply to you and the systems you access.
Remote credentials and availability
Shell2Go encrypts stored credentials and uses strict SSH host-key verification, but you remain responsible for verifying fingerprints, choosing secure remote-server settings, and maintaining independent access to your servers. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, security, provider outages, or events outside our control.
Plans and cancellation
Free-plan limits are enforced by the service. Paid plans renew for the selected monthly or annual interval until canceled. Prices, taxes, refund eligibility, and renewal terms are displayed at checkout. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not retroactively refund an already-started billing period unless required by law.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, remote systems, or the service; investigate abuse; comply with law; or address unpaid charges. You may export account metadata or delete an eligible account from Account Settings.
Disclaimers and responsibility
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Shell2Go is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of remote-server data. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Account and legal questions may be sent to noreply@shell2go.com until a dedicated support address is published.
